AM I Your Buddy?

As I was jogging along the canal last night, overheard a conversation of a father with his little boy sitting behind his bicycle seat.

Daddy: Is Mommy your buddy?

Without hesitation, the little boy shouted: Yeah! Mummy is my buddy!!!!

Awww…..So Sweet! I thought this is something very sweet indeed to have our daddy and mommy as our buddy 🙂

Then i heard an inner soft still voice spoke to me:

AM I your Buddy?

I paused for a while…Is Papa God my Buddy?

With an excitement, I shouted out loud in my heart:

It came just so sudden that tears just welling up in me and I just couldn’t stop it from flowing….without feeling sad or sorrow inside of me. I dunno what happened to myself either!

Now I remembered sometimes ago I asked T (a K1gal) why she came in with tears in her eyes during one of the Sunday School. Her sister standing beside her told me that she just wanna to cry so she cried! That’s a very honest and simple answer from the little one.

Do we really need a reason to cry? With her sister prompt reply, she gave me a shy look and smiled to me. That was a good cry and a good smile. I think her smile was one of the sweetest one that I ever see! It’s like the beautiful rainbow appears after a heavy downpour!  🙂

“HE knows my name, HE sees each tear that fall

No matter what tear is it, be it happy tear, mourning tear, silly tear, big tear or small tear…. Every single tear is just so precious in the eyes of God!

A Beautiful Wedding

Attended a friend YY’s church wedding last Sat, a friend that i have not seen for a couple of years. A very sweet lady that once serving together with me in the youth ushering ministry.

It’s a simple wedding but with a beautiful love story to tell. What touched me the most was when the groom gave a surprise item for YY after exchanging the wedding vow. A song composed by him, dedicated to his beloved wife on this special day….”I Do”

“If I have a second chance to relive this moment again, I’ll still choose to say “I Do” to you…”

By the 3rd attempt, he finally got the song sung out loud with himself playing piano as he sang.  I wept (with happy tears!) , how he loves her! I’m glad that God  has blessed YY with such a loving husband that cherishes her so much!

As P. Colin had shared, it takes only half an hour to conduct a wedding, but a life time to perfect the marriage. I sincerely pray that Papa God will bless them abundantly with His manifold of blessings as both of them begin another exciting journey of life! 🙂
